Team Nigeria has dominated the Africa Para Badminton Championships 2025, which ended on October 12 in Umuahia, Abia State. The tournament champion amassed an impressive 36 medals – 10 gold, 13 silver, and 13 bronze.
Nigerian athletes showcased exceptional sportsmanship, talent, agility, and prowess as they took the lead from the opening day of the tournament. Kenya finished second with 11 medals, while Egypt gathered eight medals to sit third on the table.
Chigozie Jeremiah Nnanna, Mariam Eniola Bolaji, Chukwuebuka Sunday Eze, Munkwoba Tala Goman, Gift Ijeoma Chukwuemeka, Mary Mabwat Nathan, and Chinyere Lucky Okoro were the gold medalists who spurred the home fans to victory.
