Mrs Wuraola Ajibola Ogunleye, Principal of Lewa College Junior, expressed gratitude, saying, “Today we are celebrating World Disability Day, and they have remembered our children and us by bringing two brand-new computer sets. I really appreciate you. God bless the works of your hands.

Mrs Olufuke Dorcas, VP administrator at Lewa College Junior, emphasised the value of the donation: “We truly appreciate your hard work and efforts. Donating to organisations nowadays is not easy, and providing brand-new computers is even more commendable. This will significantly enhance the teaching and learning of our students.”
The president of Voice for Impaired Persons, Mr Popola Suraj, explained the organisation’s mission: “We advocate for the rights and privileges of people living with disabilities and strive to make life more bearable through education, healthcare, and accessibility.”
“Our goal is to ensure that challenged persons can compete on a level playing field without prejudice or stereotypes,” Suraj added.
Founded on May 6, 2023, Voice for Impaired Persons has grown nationally and works to support all persons living with various kinds of impairments.
The computer donation underscores the organisation’s commitment to empowering students with disabilities through technology, ensuring they are not left behind in today’s information-driven world.
The event marked the first major outreach of the organisation on the global stage of disability advocacy and reaffirmed its dedication to equity in education and opportunities for all.
